1. Data Collection: The "Zero-Knowledge" Principle

Unlike traditional messengers, we do not collect personal identifiers. To ensure your anonymity:

  • No Personal Information: We do not require your real name, physical address, or email.
  • No Phone Number Binding: Our service does not link your account to a SIM card or phone number.
  • Account Identifiers: We only process cryptographic hash sums of user accounts. This means we cannot identify the person behind the account.

2. End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)

All communications within the app are protected by state-of-the-art End-to-End Encryption:

  • Messages & Media: All text, photos, and files are encrypted on your device and can only be decrypted by the recipient.
  • No Access to Content: We do not hold the decryption keys. We cannot read your messages or listen to your calls, even under legal pressure.
  • Zero Storage: Messages are deleted from our servers immediately after delivery.

3. Metadata Protection

We minimize the collection of metadata (data about your data). Our systems are designed to:

  • Not log your IP address.
  • Not track your physical location.
  • Not keep logs of who you communicate with or when.

4. Information Sharing and Third Parties

Our business model is based on security, not data mining:

We do not sell, trade, or rent any user data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. Since we do not store identifying information, we have no data to provide to third parties even upon official request.

5. Data Storage and Compliance

In accordance with applicable laws (including RU Federal Law No. 242 where applicable), any technical data required for service stability is stored on secure, encrypted servers. However, because we do not collect personal data, this storage remains anonymous.

6. Your Control

You have absolute control over your digital footprint:

  • Local Deletion: Deleting a message or chat on your device removes it permanently.
  • Self-Destructing Messages: You can set timers for messages to disappear automatically from all devices.
  • Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time, wiping all associated cryptographic hashes from our system.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology or legislation. Any updates will be notified within the app, but our core principle of "Zero-Knowledge" will remain unchanged.
